PORRIDGE HANGUS!!! @ 4:59 PM

My little girl has been sick for the past 2 days and the doctor asked for her to be on a porridge diet for at least 1 to 2 days.So pagi2 lagi I bersemangat to make her bubur nasi daging - one of the family's favorite rice porridge.

Soon as everything was put on slow fire on the stove, I did my other house chores. Well, its Sunday, the 'cleaning & tidying' day...about half hr later, my girl came running and asked..."Mi, something hangus!'. Upon rushing down to the kitchen, satu rumah dah berasap! my bubur dah hitam legam...hukhukhuk...kena masak lagi and worst, kena clean up...so much for relying on hubby to look out for all these simple stuff...and he could just lie there in front of the TV, smiling away while asking..."why, yang? what happened?"....I could happily strangle him there and then!

Life's like That...

I'm a "MAKCIK"...!!!arghhhh... @ 10:54 PM

Can you beat this? Went to the hair salon today and from the corner of my eye, while I was under the steamer machine, I saw a figure standing besides me. When I turned around, there stood a boy aged between 12 - 14 years - maybe in form 1 or 2....apparently he was looking there, amazed with what I was going through. When our eyes met, he casually said..."makcik, rambut makcik berasap, makcik!".

I just smiled and said something like ...'oh, takpe, ni nak buat lagi sihat...' When actually I was just amazed with the word makcik that he used on me....boy, did it sound old...hhmmm...maybe I did looked old afterall...hukhukhuk...

MUST REMEMBER TO GROW OLD GRACEFULLY
